Custom Home Construction & Remodeling

We often work as a liaison for clients, architects and custom builders guiding the overall aesthetic of the house from beginning concepts through completion.
Whether starting from ground up or reimagining your current space, we work as a member of the construction team to select materials, design architectural details, select exterior materials and customize the home for your individual needs. 

Kitchen & Bath Selections

Our Kitchen & Bathroom Design Selection Services include custom design consultation on a kitchen project, a primary bath, secondary bath or powder room. One site visit is included to confirm measurements on the existing space, and meetings take place either in a kitchen and bath showroom or in the KCI office. During this time, we can work together to select cabinetry, tile, countertops, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and/or hardware. If additional project management time or customization is needed beyond initial selections, we can bill that at our hourly rate of $200 per hour Packages start at $2,500.

Virtual Design

Virtual Design is right for you if you are on a budget but still want great style, want to take your design one room at a time, or love the Kara Cox Interiors look but are not in need of our full range of services. After completing a questionnaire about you and your space, we will follow up with instructions to measure and take detailed photos. We will then present you with a mood board, a scaled layout plan, a personalized shopping list, and an overview of recommended materials and products. You may book as many consultations as needed to accomplish your design goals. Virtual Design Packages start at $1,000.
