My Own Dream Team

The Kara Cox Interiors Team

The Kara Cox Interiors Team

People who only know me from social media ask me all the time how I get everything done, especially juggling design work, product design, my family, and more. Well the answer is above! Behind every successful woman is an amazing team and I’m lucky to have one of the best. I want to introduce them to you and sing their praises!

Megan Sommers

Megan Sommers

Megan Sommers recently joined the Kara Cox Interiors team as our Operations Manager. She keeps everything running smoothly and on time. She helps me juggle all of the projects and partnerships that we have at any given time, and she makes it look easy. She also loves spreadsheets, which is a huge bonus since that give me more time with my clients, partners, and the creative side of the business. Megan and her husband Joe are parents to their little girl Millie, and I’m thrilled to have her as part of our company.

April Lewis

April Lewis

April Lewis works as a designer for our team, and she is such a creative asset for me. She is thoughtful in her approach and has an incredible rapport with our clients. She has broad experience as an interior designer and during design school she worked with a seamstress where she learned a lot about custom window treatment design, fabrication of soft goods for the home, and upholstery. That blends perfectly with my fashion background and makes us a terrific design team. Her attention to detail is unparalleled and I’m glad she’s my second layer of eyes on every project. April is getting married this weekend and I’m so excited for her and her fiance, Matthew!

I’m thrilled to have such a strong group of women on my team - together we can take on anything. We’re a hardworking group that loves to have fun, too! By the way, we’re also hiring! We are growing so fast that we need to add a design assistant. If you know anyone who might be interested - or if you are - email your resume to Megan at info@karacoxinteriors.com.

All the best,

Kara
