Spa-Worthy Bathrooms

One of the things I have missed the most during the pandemic and shutdown is a spa day. There is nothing better for stress relief and relaxation. Luckily, you can recreate that experience in your own home with a spa-worthy master bathroom, like the one I designed above for my Lafayette Project. The deep, free-standing tub, quiet color palette, and dreamy draperies make this a soothing and calming oasis.

Extra touches - like a tub-side table, a scented candle, and flowers - give you the tools you need to spend as long as you like soaking your cares away. In the bathroom I designed above, I also elevated the look with a sleek chandelier, marble flooring, and luxe window treatments.

The soaking tub I designed above for my Quintana Collection with Thompson Traders has soft curves and a gorgeous glow. It’s a hand-crafted beauty in a mix of metal finishes that will make you feel like a queen (or king!).

Some prefer a long soaking shower to tub time, and I love to create the perfect space for them, too. Multiple shower heads, body sprayers, and a stunning bench offer an incredible experience that will have you spending hours in the spray.

Super-luxe additions can include steam, aromatherapy, and a built-in sound system. All you need to provide are fluffy towels, your favorite soaps, and a soothing playlist.

What would you want in your own spa-like sanctuary?

All the best,
